Blame Canada!

A few months ago, a Chinese immigrant named Vince Li killed a fellow passenger of his while they were both riding in a Greyhound bus. Remember this sick fuck? Li stabbed, beheaded, and then ATE his victim, a man by the name of Tim McLean. The other passengers on the bus, who I’m sure were shitting their pants at this point, if not puking, frantically fled the bus and locked Li inside. Li somehow escaped out a window, but was later caught by Canadian police. Oh yeah, this all happpened in Canada. I thought those hosers were all kittens and puppies up there. The best part (or the sickest) is that when the cops caught Li, he had McLean’s ear, nose and tongue in his pocket. BARFFF! Sorry if anyone was eating while reading this post. I really should have put up a disclaimer at the beginning.

Anyway, here’s the kicker. Li was just put through a trial and found NOT GUILTY by the Canadian judge. Not guilty! Okay, let’s see if I have this straight. This sick bitch butchered and then ATE his victim while dozens of witnesses helplessly watched and those crazy Canadians are saying he’s not guilty. Why? Because he must be insane. DUH! No shit he must be insane!!! Sane people don’t get on a bus with a concealed butcher knife, make small talk with their seat mate for a bit, then decide, “Ya know what? I think I’ll rip into this motherfucker just for shits and giggles. Oh, and I’ll eat him, too, because I always wondered what a man named Tim would taste like.” Nope, sane people don’t do things like that… ever.

Li’s lawyer had a psychiatrist testify that Li cut up the body because he believed that the victim would come back to life and take revenge. Well, yes, that sounds quite reasonable to me. Make sure to fully dismember the body because you wouldn’t want any pesky little ghosts to come back and be pissed off that you DISMEMBERED THEIR BODY!

So what all this means is that Li will be institutionalized WITHOUT a criminal record and reassessed every year by a mental health review to determine if he is fit for release. Really, I mean, REALLY? We have to have a team of doctors review him every year. I’m thinking if you EAT a person, you’re not fit to be released. I just don’t think there’s any coming back from that sort of thing.

Li told his lawyer that he is going to work with his treatment team because “it’s his desire to get better.” I think maybe just NOT beheading someone would be a sign he’s making progress. All I have to say is, thank God I live in America. No rehabilitation for us; we just fry people who are crazy.
