Frank- This summer I SWEAR I am going!

Mydailylist- Oh my God, how could I have failed to mention Avanti’s?! They just opend a second location in town that is much closer to my place than the one in Normal. Except I kind of burned out on Avanti’s when I was an ISU student b/c I ate it ALL the time.

I have to add one additional highlight. Avanti’s gondola sandwich. I don’t know any ISU grad who drives down I-55 (what used to be the Mother Road) without taking the exit at Bloomington to get a gondola.

Every year we have “Shakespeare in the Park” in Toronto. For five years I lived right next to High Park where it’s held. Think I ever went?

Nice place. I wouldn’t mind visiting in person some day.

Nonamedufus- How do you know the school slogan?! And I’ve only ever been to one ISU sporting event and it was after I was already out of school

Unfinished Rambler- I’ve lived in both, but now I’m in Bloomington. The two towns just blend together…if you cross the street, then your in Normal (and I know, what a weird name for a town!)

Reforming Geek- Way to support State Farm! Yes, visit IL in the summer b/c the winters suck…fall is very pretty though and my all-time fave time of year.

So which exactly do you live in? Bloomington or Normal (from which I can’t imagine you are)? I need to know where exactly I can stalk you.

Oh, and thanks to you, I will never eat beer nuts again. Of course, I prefer “girlie” mixed drinks anyway so usually don’t have to worry about it.
